L’artiste perpignanais YUZMV s’est produit sur la scène de la salle du METRONUM de Toulouse ce samedi 16 décembre 2023 dans le cadre de sa tournée « La Fin de la Nuit Tour ». Un concert organisé par Euterpe Promotion qui a regroupé un grand nombre de jeunes fans de la 1ère heure de l’énigmatique rappeur-rock star.
Dès 19h30, une longue file d’attente s’était créée devant la salle de spectacle du Metronum. Un public jeune et composé autant d’hommes que de femmes.
A 20h30, la foule en place a pu accueillir Adeline Lovo pour assurer la 1ère partie du concert de YUZMV. La jeune chanteuse pop très prometteuse, aux origines malgaches et née en Normandie, a partagé certains de ses plus gros succès durant près d’une demi-heure. Elle a notamment joué, pour le plus grand plaisir du public, « Envie » écrit par Louane et « Le Toit du monde » qui est un duo avec le rappeur Maes .
YUZMV (à prononcer ‘Yuzma’) est arrivé sur scène un peu avant 21h30.
Ce rappeur-chanteur, auteur, compositeur, interprète au talent brut, est apparu, comme a son habitude, avec le visage bandé, accessoire qui assure son identité mystérieuse.
Sa musique oscille entre rap, rock et chanson française, dans un style que l’on peut qualifier de « Sad Rap ». Ses paroles mélancoliques séduisent le public depuis 2020, année où sa carrière a décollé. Mais Yuzmv était déjà un artiste accompli avant de devenir célèbre. Passionné de musique, le rappeur a sorti des EP sur Soundcloud de 2017 à 2019. Il faisait partie du top 10 de la plateforme. L’artiste a accumulé plus de 10 millions de vues sur YouTube et d’autres plateformes où il est distribué. YUZMV s’est initié à la musique dès son plus jeune âge, jouant de plusieurs instruments : batterie, guitare et piano.

Ce show était bien carré et découpé en 3 grosses parties : la 1ère plutôt rap avec le duo de danseurs : Bettina et Miguelito, la 2ème en mode ‘Rock Star’, comme l’a annoncé Yuzmv qui était épaulé de ses musiciens : Sadson à la batterie et Mak Jak à la guitare, puis la dernière était présentée comme un ‘petit set acoustique’. Les danseurs et les musiciens revenaient tout de même sur certains morceaux hors de leur partie.
Ruptures, déceptions, accidents de la vie, lassitude et mélancolie, tels sont les principaux sujets que YUZMV aborde à travers ses paroles. Il commencé le show par le classique « Djinn amoureux » issu de l’album ‘YUZMV’ de 2020 et « Intermission » sorti en 2023. Le public était ravi, il chantait en cœur avec l’artiste. L’ambiance était à la fois posée et passionnée, tout dans l’intensité. Le concert a continué avec des titres du nouvel EP ‘Gardien du Labyrinthe’ comme « Pas maintenant » ou « L’incendie ». Yuzmv a aussi fait plaisir à la foule en jouant des titres plus anciens très appréciés, tels que « J’oublie », « Vagabond », « London », « Mère », « Vampire » ou encore le fameux « Miroir des limbes » avec lequel il a fini le show.
YUZMV est proche de son public. Il le remercie, le fait participer et le vanne aussi par moment. Un beau moment de concert mais aussi d’échange et de partage entre un artiste et ses fans.
Pour le rappel, l’artiste perpignanais a joué « Résurrection » et « Avenue de l’impasse », avant de véritablement quitte la scène sur « Mains libres » et accompagnées de ses musiciens et danseurs.
Pendant près d’une heure et demi et avec près de 20 morceaux joués, YUZMV a emporté le public dans son univers mélancolique unique, tout en interagissant avec plaisir. La simplicité, le naturel, l’émotivité et la ‘rage’ de cet artiste du sud de la France a touché la foule du Metronum.

[:en]Perpignan artist YUZMV took to the stage at Toulouse’s METRONUM this Saturday, December 16, 2023, as part of his « La Fin de la Nuit Tour ». The concert, organized by Euterpe Promotion, attracted a large number of young fans of the enigmatic rapper-rock star from the very beginning.
By 7.30pm, a long queue had formed outside the Metronum concert hall. It was a young crowd, made up of both men and women.
At 8.30pm, the crowd was ready to welcome Adeline Lovo as opening act for YUZMV. The promising young pop singer, of Madagascan origins and born in Normandy, shared some of her biggest hits for almost half an hour. She performed « Envie », written by Louane, and « Le Toit du monde », a duet with rapper Maes, to the delight of the audience.
YUZMV (pronounced ‘Yuzma’) took to the stage just before 9.30pm.
This rapper-singer, songwriter and performer of raw talent appeared, as usual, with a bandaged face, an accessory that ensures his mysterious identity.
His music oscillates between rap, rock and French chanson, in a style that can be described as « Sad Rap ». His melancholy lyrics have been captivating audiences since 2020, the year his career took off. But Yuzmv was already an accomplished artist before he became famous. Passionate about music, the rapper released EPs on Soundcloud from 2017 to 2019. He was one of the platform’s top 10. The artist has accumulated over 10 million views on YouTube and other platforms where he is distributed. YUZMV was introduced to music at an early age, playing several instruments : drums, guitar and piano.
In fact, the artist shared his musical talent – on guitar and piano – with us on certain sounds during the concert.
The show was well organized and divided into 3 main parts : the 1st was more rap, with the dance duo Bettina and Miguelito, the 2nd was in ‘Rock Star’ mode, as announced by Yuzmv, who was supported by his musicians : Sadson on drums and Mak Jak on guitar, then the last was presented as a ‘little acoustic set’. The dancers and musicians did return to some of the tracks outside their part.
Break-ups, disappointments, accidents in life, weariness and melancholy – these are the main subjects YUZMV tackles through his lyrics. He began the show with the classic « Djinn amoureux » from the 2020 album ‘YUZMV’ and « Intermission » released in 2023. The audience was delighted, singing along with the artist. The atmosphere was both calm and passionate, all in intensity. The concert continued with tracks from the new ‘Gardien du Labyrinthe’ EP, such as « Pas maintenant » and « L’incendie ». Yuzmv also delighted the crowd with some much-loved older tracks, such as « J’oublie », « Vagabond », « London », « Mère », « Vampire » , « Djinn amoureux II » and the famous « Miroir des limbes » with which he ended the show.
YUZMV is close to his audience, thanking them, involving them and even joking with them at times. It was a great moment in the concert, but also one of exchange and sharing between an artist and his fans.
For the encore, the Perpignan artist played « Résurrection » and « Avenue de l’impasse », before really leaving the stage on « Mains libres », accompanied by his musicians and dancers.
For almost an hour and a half and with almost 20 pieces played, YUZMV carried the audience away into their unique melancholy universe, while interacting with pleasure. The simplicity, naturalness, emotionality and ‘rage’ of this artist from the south of France touched the Metronum crowd.
