Après avoir fait équipe avec adidas sur une UltraBoost « Attack on Titan » le mois dernier (article disponible ICI), le célèbre retailer BAIT dévoile une nouvelle collaboration avec REEBOK basée sur une autre série de mangas/d’animation : Astro Boy.
Cette collection comprend 2 silhouettes revisitées, l’InstaPump Fury et la Club C Stomper. Unissant l’univers du sport et du manga, ces paires se parent d’un look audacieux inédit.
L’InstaPump Fury se compose d’une tige en cuir noir verni recouverte de graphismes techniques faisant référence au fonctionnement interne d’Astro Boy. Pour compléter le design, la paire se pare de détails phosphorescents, d’accents rouges, d’un heel tab vert et du branding BAIT blanc au niveau du talon. Une midsole blanche et une outsole rouge finalisent harmonieusement le look.
La Club C Stomper est une version modifiée de la légendaire Club C : elle bénéficie d’un système Velcro Alien Stomper au-dessus de la languette. Cette itération collaborative se présente de couleur blanche et bleue. Elle se compose d’une base en cuir blanc, ornée de graphismes bleus représentant le fameux petit robot dessiné sur un quadrillage. L’insole arbore le co-branding Reebok x BAIT et la sangle sur-languette comporte des inscriptions japonaises. Une semelle entièrement blanche apporte la touche finale au design.
Les paires seront livrées dans des boîtes spécialement conçues pour l’occasion afin de rendre hommage au design de la collab.
La collection BAIT x Astro Boy x Reebok sortira le 21 mai 2022 chez les détaillants sélectionnés et sur reebok.com. Les prix sont fixés à 200€ pour l’InstaPump Fury et 160€ pour la Club C Stomper.

The InstaPump Fury consists of a black patent leather upper covered in technical graphics referencing the inner workings of Astro Boy. To complete the design, the pair is adorned with glow-in-the-dark details, red accents, a green heel tab and white BAIT branding at the heel. A white midsole and red outsole finish off the look.
The Club C Stomper is a modified version of the legendary Club C with an Alien Stomper Velcro system above the tongue. This collaborative iteration comes in white and blue. It features a white leather base with blue graphics of the famous little robot drawn on a grid. The insole features the Reebok x BAIT co-branding and the strap features Japanese lettering. An all-white sole adds the finishing touch to the design.
The pairs will be delivered in specially designed boxes to honor the collab’s design.
The BAIT x Astro Boy x Reebok collection will be released on May 21, 2022 at select retailers and on reebok.com. Prices are set at $200 for the InstaPump Fury and $160 for the Club C Stomper.
