La marque de la mystérieuse créatrice Cynthia Lu CACTUS PLANT FLEA MARKET fera de nouveau équipe avec Nike en 2022. Après la collection apparel « Go Flea » (article dispo ICI), CPFM dévoile une version inédite de la silhouette Dunk Low.
En 2020, Cynthia Lu avait recouvert de cristal cette sneaker hyper populaire. 2 ans plus tard, la designer nous présente une itération totalement différente. Exit le style luxueux vu précédemment, cette nouvelle réinterprétation arbore un look se rapprochant davantage du skate avec une touche d’inspiration trail.
Elle se compose d’un upper en daim jaune pâle comportant un motif triangulaire matelassé. Les superpositions également en daim apparaissent dans une nuance de jaune plus foncé et le Swoosh latéral se voit surdimensionné et de couleur blanche. Un autre Swoosh se présente retravaillé et brodé de fil vert sur le renfort de talon latéral. Du côté opposé, on découvre une autre broderie : le symbole Yin Yang. Les brandings de languette CPFM et Nike sont aussi brodés, oversize et de couleur verte ou marron bordeaux. Pour compléter le look exclusif, les doublures intérieures sont dépareillées, tout comme les insoles multicolores. Les languettes sont gonflées et bénéficient d’une face interne de couleur contrastante rouge brique. Autre changement, un tirant de talon est ajouté et la semelle texturée Mossy Green s’étend vers le mudguard.
La paire est livrée avec 2 jeux de lacets épais, l’un plat et vert, et l’autre rond et marron moucheté de jaune. Elle est également accompagnée d’un sac marron à cordon en éponge orné du symbole du Yin et du Yang, ainsi que du slogan Nike « Just Do It ».

In 2020, Cynthia Lu had covered with crystal this very popular sneaker. 2 years later, the designer presents us with a totally different iteration. Exit the luxurious style seen previously, this new reinterpretation sports a look closer to skate with a touch of trail inspiration.
It consists of a pale yellow suede upper with a quilted triangular pattern. The suede overlays also appear in a darker shade of yellow and the side Swoosh is oversized and white. Another Swoosh is reworked and embroidered with green thread on the side heel reinforcement. On the opposite side, we discover another embroidery : the Yin Yang symbol. The CPFM and Nike tongue brandings are also embroidered, oversized and in green or burgundy brown. To complete the exclusive look, the inner lining is mismatched, as are the multicolored insoles. The tongues are swollen and have a contrasting brick red inner side. Another change, a heel pull is added and the Mossy Green textured sole extends to the mudguard.
The pair comes with 2 sets of thick laces, one flat and green and the other round and brown speckled with yellow. It also comes with a brown terry drawstring bag emblazoned with the Yin and Yang symbol and Nike’s « Just Do It » slogan.
