Asicstiger a décidé de s’associer au “sneaker artist” de Singapour Mark Ong aka Mr Sabotage aka SBTG, et au célèbre détaillant singapourien Limited Edt afin de nous proposer une collaboration placé sous le signe des intempéries.
En grand défenseur de la culture singapourienne, SBTG et Limited Edt se sont inspirés de la saison de la mousson. La Monsoon Patrol a été pensée et conçue comme une chaussure urbaine résistante au mauvais temps et aux conditions extrêmes. Cette Asics Gel Lyte 3 a reçu un traitement spécial avec une semelle tripe densité ainsi qu’une nouvelle interprétation du design classique de la languette fendue, offrant un ajustement plus profilé et une meilleure stabilité générale.
La paire se compose d’un upper en suede et nylon aux coloris kaki, camo et marron. la chaussure est livrée avec un cache-languette en nylon amovible, avec système de crochet pour gouttière, conférant à la chaussure une résistance accrue à l’eau. On retrouve les inscriptions “STOCK NO: LE-65-138-SBTG” et “MONSOON PATROL” gravées au niveau du talon ainsi que le branding Limited Edt et AsicsTiger au niveau de la languette.
Un trench-coat léger d’inspiration militaire a été créé pour l’occasion. La veste Monsoon Patrol est dotée de manches de couleur aloe avec «MONSOON PATROL» imprimé à l’arrière, «STOCK NO: LE-65-138-SBTG» imprimé à gauche du poignet et de camouflages à l’intérieur du col.
ASICSTIGER lancera un pack exclusif Monsoon Patrol à Culture Cartel, le premier congrès asiatique de la culture de rue organisé du 1er au 2 décembre 2018. Ce pack en édition limitée comprendra des articles comme un dry bag, les chaussures et la veste.
La collection Monsoon Patrol sera vendue au prix de 209 dollars singapouriens (chaussures) et 189 dollars singapouriens (veste). Elle sera disponible en ligne sur www.limitededt.com ainsi que chez les revendeurs LE. Elle sera également disponible en Malaisie, en Thaïlande et aux Philippines à partir du 8 décembre.

Asicstiger has decided to partner with Singaporean “sneaker artist” Mark Ong aka “Mr. Sabotage” aka “SBTG” and the famous Singaporean retailer Limited Edt to offer us a weatherproof collaboration.
As a big advocate of Singaporean culture, SBTG and Limited Edt have been inspired by the monsoon season. The Monsoon Patrol has been designed and conceived as an urban shoe resistant to bad weather and extreme conditions. This Asics Gel Lyte 3 has received a special treatment with a triple-density sole and a new interpretation of the classic design of the split tongue, offering a more contoured fit and better overall stability.
The pair consists of a suede and nylon upper in khaki, camo and brown colors. the shoe comes with a detachable nylon tab cover, with a gutter hook system, giving the shoe increased resistance to water. We find the inscriptions “STOCK NO: LE-65-138-SBTG” and “MONSOON PATROL” engraved at the heel and the branding Limited Edt and AsicsTiger at the level of the tongue.
A light military inspired trench coat was created for the occasion. The Monsoon Patrol Jacket features aloe-colored sleeves with “MONSOON PATROL” printed on the back, “STOCK NO: LE-65-138-SBTG” printed on the left side of the wrist and camouflage on the inside of the collar.
ASICSTIGER will launch an exclusive Monsoon Patrol pack at Culture Cartel, the first Asian congress of street culture held from 1 to 2 December 2018. This limited edition pack will include items such as a dry bag, shoes and jacket.
