La 2eme édition du nouveau festival toulousain très attendu, Le ROSE FESTIVAL a eu lieu le week-end du 1er au 3 septembre 2023 au MEET. Imaginé par les fameux frères rappeurs Big Flo & Oli et organisé en partenariat avec Bleu Citron, cet event a regroupé un beau panel d’artistes et a connu un véritable succès.
Dès la 1ere journée du vendredi 1er septembre 2023, le ton était donné : énormément de festivaliers habillés (ou déguisés) en rose, une ambiance joyeuse et festive, ainsi que des artistes à l’énergie communicative ravis d’être là !
Les concerts, d’une durée entre 50mns et 1h20, se sont enchaînés à la perfection grâce à la présence des 2 scènes : ‘Beauzelle’ et ‘Ausonne’. Pour ceux qui avaient besoin de boire ou se restaurer, le nombre de food trucks et bars avaient été augmenté par rapport à la 1ere édition de 2022. Il en était de même pour les toilettes, fini les longues files d’attente !
Le ‘Rose’, comme on l’appelle ici à Toulouse, a commencé à 16:00 avec CARBONNE, le 2eme vainqueur du Tremplin rap organisé par Big Flo & Oli au mois de juillet dernier. Bien que le festival ait débuté tôt, un grand nombre de participants étaient déjà sur place pour profiter des concerts et du cadre aménagé en couleur rose en hommage à la ville de Toulouse.
Un peu avant 17h00, le rappeur freestyleur LAUCARRÉ (à prononcer ‘L au Carré’) a littéralement mis le feu sur la scène ‘Ausonne’. Son plaisir de partager sa passion est communicatif et ses sons de rap variés ont conquis le public. La journée a continué avec un joli show de la chanteuse d’origine brésilienne BIANCA COSTA, puis avec le mystérieux rappeur masqué LUTHER. Les festivaliers, déjà bien chauds après ces concerts de belle qualité, ont grandement apprécié les prestations de PETIT BISCUIT ainsi que de DISIZ qui se sont produits consécutivement en début de soirée, de 19h20 à 21h15. Les artistes phares de ce 1er jour, la pop star ANGÈLE et le roi de la trap française GAZO ont livré des concerts de grande qualité, avec toujours une grande bienveillance (Gazo a même arrêté son show pour permettre l’évacuation de personnes en détresse). Le talentueux groupe de musiciens mélangeant electro et instruments prestigieux, WORALKS ORCHESTRA a complètement séduit le public, avant que cette 1ere journée du festival s’achève à 2h00 après le set d’une heure du duo electro ADRIATIQUE.
La 1ere journée du Rose Festival a commencé « en pétard ! », avec 30 000 personnes accueillies et sans jeu de mots, le désormais traditionnel Feu d’Artifices de minuit. Bien que non programmés sur le vendredi, Big Flo & Oli ont fait quelques petites surprises en rejoignant certains artistes sur scène, notamment Big FLO devenu backeur de Gazo sur « Die ». From the first day of Friday September 1, 2023, the tone was set : lots of festival-goers dressed (or disguised) in pink, a joyful and festive atmosphere, as well as artists with infectious energy delighted to be there !
The concerts, lasting between 50 minutes and 1 hour 20 minutes, followed each other perfectly thanks to the presence of the 2 stages : ‘Beauzelle’ and ‘Ausonne’. For those who needed to drink or eat, the number of food trucks and bars had been increased compared to the 1st edition of 2022. The same was true for the toilets, no more long queues!
The ‘Rose’, as it’s called here in Toulouse, started at 4:00 p.m. with CARBONNE, the 2nd winner of the Tremplin rap organized by Big Flo & Oli last July. Although the festival started early, a large number of participants were already there to enjoy the concerts and the pink-coloured setting in homage to the city of Toulouse.
A little before 5:00 p.m., freestyler rapper LAUCARRÉ (pronounced ‘L au Carré’) literally set the ‘Ausonne’ stage on fire. His pleasure in sharing his passion is contagious and his varied rap sounds have conquered the public. The day continued with a nice show by the singer of Brazilian origin BIANCA COSTA, then with the mysterious masked rapper LUTHER. The festival-goers, already very warm, greatly appreciated the performances of PETIT BISCUIT as well as DISIZ who performed consecutively at the start of the evening, from 7:20 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. The star artists of the evening, the pop star ANGÈLE and the king of French trap GAZO delivered high quality concerts, always with great kindness (Gazo even stopped his show to allow the evacuation of people in distress). The talented group of musicians mixing electro and prestigious instruments, WORAKLS ORCHESTRA completely won over the public, before this 1st day of the festival ended at 2 a.m. after the one-hour set of the electro duo ADRIATIQUE.
The first day of the Rose Festival started « on fire », with 30,000 people welcomed and without pun intended, the now traditional Midnight Fireworks. Although not scheduled on Friday, Big Flo & Oli made some small surprises by joining certain artists on stage, in particular Big FLO who became Gazo’s backer on « Die ».
