Le jeudi 11 avril 2024, l’agence BAJO EL MAR a organisé un nouveau concert de rap au METRONUM de Toulouse afin de mettre la lumière sur 3 talents émergeants. A l’affiche : les artistes toulousains WISLEY et le trio DEEN CK, ainsi que le lyonnais LA FAMAX.
Imaginée également avec l’appui de la Protection Judiciaire de la Jeunesse, cette soirée présentait un concept particulièrement séduisant : entrée gratuite et solidaire.
Elle était dédié à la musique mais aussi aux associations LINKEE et l’Equipage Solidaire, qui ont pour vocation de lutter contre la précarité étudiante. Tout le long de la soirée, ces organismes ont présenté leurs actions et invité les spectateurs à participer à de petits jeux ludiques.
Le concert a commencé un peu avant 20h30 avec notre diamant brut toulousain : WISLEY. Pendant 25 minutes, le rappeur a fourni une prestation de très belle qualité. Il a joué les morceaux de son EP « Wilfried » sorti en décembre dernier (disponible ICI) dans un enchaînement bien réfléchi et accrocheur. Wisley nous a emporté dans son univers unique chargé en émotions, naviguant entre différents styles – de l’ombre à lumière – mais toujours avec force. Le public, venu nombreux, était hyper réceptif à l’énergie et l’art du rappeur toulousain. Pour clôturer le show, l’artiste a lancé son banger ‘C’est Comment’ qui s’est spontanément accompagné d’un big pogo dans la fosse !
Un peu après 21h00, les 3 frères – Shamsdeen, Eisdeen et Tajudeen – formant le groupe DEEN CK ont pris place sur scène. Le trio rappe, chante et danse dans une grande harmonie. Symboliquement, l’un des frères est vêtu de noir, le 2ème de blanc et le dernier en bicolore blanc/noir. Les artistes nous ont partagé les sons de leur dernier EP « 3D1 » (disponible ICI), racontant leur histoire, avec une pointe de nostalgie et à la fois rempli d’espoir. Leur style de musique d’influences multiples, allant du hip-hop des années 90 à la trap actuelle en passant par des instrus mélodieuses, a séduit le public. Les gens chantaient, sautaient, dansaient sans relâche pendant les 45 minutes de concert. Ils ont également été récompensés par la distribution de lunettes 3D de DEEN CK comportant un QR Code et menant à des surprises.
La soirée s’est finie en beauté avec l’artiste lyonnais LA FAMAX. Le rappeur nous a embarqué dans son univers rap solaire et dansant. Son flow chantant et ses prods rythmées, qui rappellent les fêtes d’été, ont été très bien accueillis dans la salle du Metronum. Comme son nom l’indique, LA FAMAX, c’est la famille ! Le rappeur a fait participer ses amis au show et a également fait monter des « petits » sur scène. Autant souriant que précis dans ses sons, le rappeur a joué son dernier album « Retro » (disponible ICI) ainsi que des grands classiques de ses projets précédents.
Après le concert, les participants à la soirée se sont retrouvés dans la petite cour du Metronum pour discuter, échanger et retrouver l’ association LINKEE et l’Equipage Solidaire.
L’ambiance et la programmation du concert gratuit et solidaire du Metronum – organisé en triple collaboration avec BAJO EL MAR et la Protection Judiciaire de la Jeunesse – a tenu toutes ses promesses et a peut-être même dépassé les attentes initiales ! Ce jeudi 11 avril 2024, les artistes Wisley, Deen CK et La Famax ont proposé des shows hyper intéressants et variés, auxquels le public à bien adhéré. Bravo à eux, ainsi qu’aux organisateurs et aux associations présentes ! C’était une très belle expérience qui mériterait d’être renouvelée et étendue.

[:en]On Thursday April 11, 2024, the BAJO EL MAR agency organized a new rap concert at Toulouse’s METRONUM to spotlight 3 up-and-coming talents. On the bill : Toulouse artists WISLEY and the DEEN CK trio, as well as Lyon’s LA FAMAX.
Also conceived with the support of the Protection Judiciaire de la Jeunesse, the evening featured a particularly attractive concept : free entry and solidarity.
It was dedicated not only to music, but also to the LINKEE and Equipage Solidaire associations, whose aim is to combat student poverty. Throughout the evening, these organizations presented their actions and invited spectators to take part in fun games.
The concert kicked off just before 8.30pm with our very own diamond in the rough from Toulouse : WISLEY . For 25 minutes, the rapper delivered a top-quality performance. He played tracks from his « Wilfried » EP released last December (available HERE) in a thoughtful, catchy sequence. Wisley carried us away into his unique, emotionally-charged universe, navigating between different styles – from shadow to light – but always with strength. The large audience was highly receptive to the Toulousan rapper’s energy and artistry. To close his show, the artist launched his banger ‘C’est Comment’, which was spontaneously accompanied by a big pogo in the pit !

Shortly after 9pm, the 3 brothers – Shamsdeen, Eisdeen and Tajudeen – forming the group DEEN CK took to the stage. The trio rapped, sang and danced in great harmony. Symbolically, one of the brothers is dressed in black, the 2nd in white and the last in two-tone white/black. The artists shared sounds from their latest EP « 3D1 » (available HERE), telling their story, with a hint of nostalgia and at the same time filled with hope. Their multi-influenced style of music, ranging from ’90s hip-hop to today’s trap and melodious instrumentals, won over the audience. People sang, jumped and danced non-stop throughout the 45-minute concert. They were also rewarded with 3D glasses from DEEN CK featuring a QR Code and leading to surprises.
The evening ended on a high note with Lyon-based artist LA FAMAX. The rapper took us into his sunny, danceable rap universe. His lilting flow and rhythmic prods, reminiscent of summer parties, were very well received in the Metronum hall. As his name suggests, LA FAMAX is all about family ! The rapper got his friends to take part in the show, and also got some of the « youngsters » up on stage. As smiling as he was precise in his sounds, the rapper played his latest album « Retro » (available HERE) as well as classics from his previous projects.
After the concert, the evening’s participants gathered in the small courtyard of the Metronum to discuss, exchange ideas and meet up with the LINKEE and Equipage Solidaire associations.
The atmosphere and programming of the Metronum‘s free solidarity concert – organized in triple collaboration with BAJO EL MAR and the Protection Judiciaire de la Jeunesse – lived up to all its promises and perhaps even exceeded initial expectations ! On this Thursday, April 11, 2024, artists Wisley, Deen CK and La Famax put on highly interesting and varied shows, which were well received by the audience. Well done to them, to the organizers and to the associations present ! It was a great experience that deserves to be repeated and extended.
