Comme chaque année depuis 2011 (divers articles disponibles sur ce site), Jordan Brand célèbrera le Nouvel An Chinois avec des paires spéciales. La 1ère silhouette revisitée pour l’occasion à avoir fait surface en détails est une Air Jordan 1 Low.
2023 sera l’année du ‘Lapin’ selon le calendrier chinois. La marque au Jumpman habille l’un de ses modèles phares, la AJ1 Low, en hommage à cet animal.
Cette version spéciale est limitée à 5000 paires au monde, avec une numérotation apposée sur l’intérieur de la languette.
La sneaker se présente dans une palette de couleurs allant du blanc au brun en passant par du beige, doré et du gris. Elle se compose d’un upper en cuir blanc complété par des superpositions en daim marron et un renfort de talon en daim gris clair. Pour assurer le look, l’emblématique Swoosh latéral apparaît en daim velu beige, la doublure intérieure en éponge marron, les lacets sont blancs pelucheux et le heel tab arbore un logo Wings brodé sur une base or brillant. Au niveau de la face externe de la languette, on retrouve un branding ‘Nike Air’ classique de couleur rouge, et sur la face interne le fameux ‘lapin’ est mis à l’honneur à travers une illustration dorée. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole blanc cassé et sur une outsole marron doré qui apportent la touche finale harmonieuse au design.

2023 will be the year of the ‘Rabbit’ according to the Chinese calendar. The Jumpman brand dresses one of its flagship models, the AJ1 Low, in tribute to this animal.
This special version is limited to 5000 pairs worldwide, with a numbering on the inside of the tongue.
The sneaker comes in a color palette ranging from white, brown, beige, gold and grey. It consists of a white leather upper complemented by brown suede overlays and a light grey suede heel reinforcement. To ensure the look, the iconic side Swoosh appears in beige suede, the inner lining in brown terry, the laces are plush white and the heel tab features an embroidered Wings logo on a shiny gold base. On the outside of the tongue, we find a classic red ‘Nike Air’ branding, and on the inside the famous ‘rabbit’ is featured through a gold illustration. The whole is based on an off-white midsole and a golden brown outsole that bring the final harmonious touch to the design.
The Air Jordan 1 Low « Year of the Rabbit » will be released in early 2023, possibly on January 27, at select retailers and on nike.com, at a suggested retail price of $140. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
