Le 21 décembre 2023, le rappeur-chanteur DEEP KELINS et les autres membres du groupe MAISON GALLY se sont produits en concert sur la scène du CONNEXION LIVE à Toulouse. Un show unique conçu spécialement pour célébrer la sortie de l’EP de Deep Kelins « JDSLP » et le départ proche de Maison Gally pour Bruxelles.
Dès 19h30, à l’ouverture des portes de la salle de concert du centre ville de Toulouse, le public arrivait par vagues pour assister au show de Deep Kelins et sa bande. Des hommes et des femmes – plutôt à parts égales et âgés majoritairement d’une vingtaine d’années – attendaient avec impatience l’apparition des rappeurs toulousains sur la scène du Connexion.
Pendant près d’une heure, l’ambiance pré-concert était assurée par la diffusion de morceaux rap classiques et actuels.
A 20h30, Maison Gally est arrivée sur scène sous les cris de joie du public. Les rappeurs Deep Kelins, Raoul, Slalom, Ouzbek, Kuzkoro, avec Milonova aka CalmeChaos derrière la table de mix, ont amené une grande énergie dans la salle du Connexion.
Les membres du collectif Maison Gally chantaient ensemble, dans une belle communion, notamment les titres de leur projet « Pixel Trashtape » sorti plus tôt en 2023. Ils ont également fait profiter la foule de morceaux perso, en duo ou en équipe, comme Raoul avec ‘20%’, issu de son EP « Magenta » ou Ouzbek avec son single ‘Looping’. Entrainé par l’ambiance festive, le public faisait les backs, sautait, criait et était hyper content quand les artistes les rejoignaient dans la fosse et lançaient des pogos !
Au cours de la 15aine de morceaux joués et de l’heure et demi de show, les membres de Maison Gally ont plusieurs fois remercié la foule pour sa présence, sa réceptivité et la force donnée.
Après une entracte d’une 30aine de minutes, Deep Kelins est revenu sur scène pour la promotion de son nouvel EP « JDSLP ».
Seul, accompagné de certains membres de Maison Gally, d’un danseur, de guitaristes, d’un saxophoniste ou d’une chanteuse, le musicien-rappeur-chanteur a posé une ambiance spéciale dans le Connexion Live. Décor de parapluies, jets d’eau puis de confetti, ambiance rock ou jazzy, le rappeur toulousain a exposé son large potentiel et ses influences diverses qui font de ses morceaux des créations hors du commun.
Le public était totalement séduit par la mise en scène et enthousiaste à l’écoute des chansons en live, notamment ‘L’animal humain aka jeune singe’, ‘Trop petit’ ou encore la reprise du morceau ‘Le roi des Ombres’ de M, un artiste que Deep Kelins apprécie particulièrement. C’est avec cette reprise que la soirée s’est terminée, un petit peu après l’heure prévue tellement il était difficile pour les artistes et le public de se quitter !
Le dernier concert de Deep Kelins et Maison Gally au Connexion Live a été un réel succès. Le public était au rendez-vous et les artistes particulièrement heureux d’être sur scène avant leur départ pour la Belgique où ils souhaitent explorer de nouveaux horizons. [:en]On December 21, 2023, rapper-singer DEEP KELINS and the other members of the group MAISON GALLY performed live on the CONNEXION LIVE stage in Toulouse. A unique show specially designed to celebrate the release of Deep Kelins’ EP « JDSLP » and the imminent departure of Maison Gally in Brussels.
From 7.30pm onwards, when the doors of the concert hall in downtown Toulouse opened, the public arrived in waves to witness the show by Deep Kelins and his band. Men and women – fairly evenly divided and mostly in their twenties – eagerly awaited the appearance of the Toulouse rappers on the Connexion stage.
For almost an hour, the pre-concert atmosphere was provided by a mix of classic and current rap tracks.
At 8.30pm, Maison Gally took to the stage to the cheers of the audience. Rappers Deep Kelins, Raoul, Slalom, Ouzbek, Kuzkoro, with Milonova aka CalmeChaos behind the mixing desk, brought high energy to the Connexion venue.
The members of the Maison Gally collective sang together, in a beautiful communion, including tracks from their « Pixel Trashtape » project released earlier in 2023. They also treated the crowd to their own tracks, in duet or as a team, such as Raoul with ‘20%’, from his « Magenta » EP, or Ouzbek with his single ‘Looping’. Carried away by the festive atmosphere, the audience did the backs, jumped up and down, shouted and were overjoyed when the artists joined them in the pit and threw pogos !
During the 15 or so songs played and the hour and a half show, the members of Maison Gally thanked the audience several times for their presence, receptiveness and strength.
After a 30-minute intermission, Deep Kelins returned to the stage to promote his « JDSLP » EP.
Alone, accompanied by some members of Maison Gally, a dancer, guitarists, a saxophonist and a singer, the musician-rapper-singer set a special mood in the Connexion Live. With a backdrop of umbrellas, water and confetti, rock and jazzy atmospheres, the rapper from Toulouse showcased his wide-ranging potential and the diverse influences that make his tracks stand out from the crowd.
The audience was totally captivated by the staging and enthusiastic about the live tracks, including ‘L’animal humain aka jeune singe’, ‘Trop petit’ and the cover of ‘Le roi des Ombres’ by M, an artist Deep Kelins particularly appreciates. It was with this cover that the evening came to an end, a little after the scheduled time, so difficult was it for the artists and the audience to say goodbye !
Deep Kelins and Maison Gally’s latest concert at Connexion Live was a real success. The audience was there, and the artists were particularly happy to be on stage before their departure for Belgium, where they hope to explore new horizons. All the best to the Maison Gally team !
