Le talentueux designer SEAN WOTHERSPOON et la marque de sport ADIDAS annoncent la sortie de leur prochaine paire collaborative. Après plusieurs projets communs (divers articles disponibles sur ce site), les partenaires avaient entrepris de retravailler la fameuse Gazelle Indoor. Après une 1ère version ‘Corduroy’ sortie au mois de mai dernier, le fondateur du shop Round Two présente la déclinaison Mylo « Mushroom Leather ».
Sean Wotherspoon propose des collaborations de sneakers 100% vegan avec la marque adidas. Les partenaires travaillent sur l’innovation afin de faire évoluer leur démarche éco-responsable.
Pour cette nouvelle paire, le matériau Mylo utilisé est un cuir issu du mycélium, les racines de champignons.
En ce qui concerne le design, la chaussure reste fidèle au style audacieux coloré du designer américain. Elle arbore une base en fil naturel de couleur rose poudré, avec des superpositions bleu clair sur l’avant et le milieu du pied, ainsi que d’un renfort arrière orange. Les emblématiques 3-Stripes latérales, la doublure intérieure et le heel tab apparaissent en cuir vegan blanc éclatant. Ce dernier empiècement est orné du logo initiales ‘SW’ qui affirme la collab. Une étiquette de branding adidas sur la languette, une insole en liège co-brandée et des lacets blancs complètement le design. L’ensemble repose sur une semelle en caoutchouc naturel recyclé accentuant le look retro de cette paire collaborative, un style particulièrement apprécié par Sean Wotherspoon.

After several joint projects (various articles available on this site), the partners undertook to rework the famous Gazelle Indoor. After a first ‘Corduroy’ version released last May, the founder of the Round Two shop presents the Mylo « Mushroom Leather » version.
Sean Wotherspoon offers 100% vegan sneaker collaborations with the adidas brand. The partners are working on innovation in order to develop their eco-responsible approach.
For this new pair, the Mylo material used is leather made from mycelium, the roots of mushrooms.
In terms of design, the shoe stays true to the American designer’s colorful bold style. It consists of a powder pink natural yarn base, enhanced by light blue inserts on the fore and midfoot, as well as an orange rear reinforcement. The iconic 3-Stripes on the sides, the interior lining and the heel tab appear in bright white vegan leather. This last yoke is adorned with the initials ‘SW’ logo which affirms the collab. An adidas branding label on the tongue, a cork insole and white laces completely co-branded the design. The whole is based on a recycled natural rubber sole accentuating the retro look of this collaborative pair, a style particularly appreciated by Sean Wotherspoon.
The Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Gazelle Indoor Mylo will be released on October 13, 2023 at a price of €140, on the adidas CONFIRMED application and at selected retailers. Be ready !
