New Balance, qui a connu un vrai succès avec la NB 2002R « Protection pack », revient aujourd’hui avec la même idée sur une silhouette au look rétro et affuté : la New Balance 1906D. Ayant eu la chance de découvrir cette dernière avec la fameuse collaboration entre Size? et New Balance (article Dispo ICI), je restais impatient de découvrir ce coloris gris aux empiècements déstructurés.
Ayant eu la chance de la recevoir grâce à mon partenaire FOOTSHOP, je vous propose de la découvrir en images à mes pieds.
Elle se compose d’un upper en mesh respirant épais de couleur gris complété par des superpositions assorties en suede. La paire se pare également d’inserts blancs, tels que le renfort avant, le contrefort de talon et les œillets supérieurs. L’emblématique logo N latéral est orné du nom de système de laçage ‘Nlock’ et s’habille d’une élégante couleur grise/argentée. Une belle touche de contraste est apportée par la doublure intérieure de couleur gris clair et les lacets blanc cassé. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole blanc cassé et sur une outsole en caoutchouc noir qui finalisent harmonieusement le design.

New Balance, who had a real success with the NB 2002R « Protection pack », comes back today with the same idea on a silhouette with a retro and sharp look : the New Balance 1906D. Having had the chance to discover the latter with the famous collaboration between Size? and New Balance (article available HERE), I was eager to discover this gray colorway with unstructured inserts.
Having had the chance to receive it thanks to my partner FOOTSHOP, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
It’s composed of a thick breathable mesh upper in grey color complemented by matching suede overlays. The pair is also adorned with white inserts, such as the front reinforcement, heel counter and upper eyelets. The iconic N logo on the side is adorned with the name of the lacing system ‘Nlock’ and is dressed in a stylish grey/silver color. A nice touch of contrast is provided by the light grey inner lining and off-white laces. The whole is based on an off-white midsole and a black rubber outsole that harmoniously finalize the design.
