C’est en 2010 que Nike introduisait sur le marché une nouvelle silhouette appelée Zoom Vomero 5. Cette running a rencontré un fort succès chez les passionnés de course à pied, qui appréciaient son confort et sa légèreté. Elle a ensuite connu une seconde vie en 2018/2019, notamment sur une collaboration avec A-Cold-Wall. 2022 semble annoncer son grand retour avec un nouveau coloris appelé « Oatmeal ».
Ayant eu la chance de la recevoir grâce à mon partenaire FOOTSHOP, je vous propose de la découvrir en images à mes pieds.
La paire se compose d’un upper fait de superpositions de différents matériaux en mesh, cuir et TPU, dans un coloris allant du beige au blanc cassé. L’ensemble est relevé par des touches de marron et bleu ciel. On retrouve une semelle vieillie beige bénéficiant de la technologie Zoom Air.
Je trouve cette paire de chaussures de toute beauté. Son coloris vintage apporte du caractère à une silhouette racée et agressive. C’est une GR qui aurait facilement été un heat et un gros succès commercial en y ajoutant une collaboration, avec par exemple avec Travis Scott. C’est la première idée qui m’est venue en tête en la recevant. Il est vraiment dommage de la voir encore disponible partout alors que nous sommes (pour moi) en face d’un vrai HEAT.

It then had a second life in 2018/2019, especially on a collaboration with A-Cold-Wall. 2022 seems to announce its great return with a new colorway called « Oatmeal ».
Having been lucky enough to receive it thanks to my partner FOOTSHOP, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
The pair consists of an upper made of overlays of different materials in mesh, leather and TPU, in a color ranging from beige to off-white. The whole is raised by touches of brown and sky blue. We find an aged beige sole with Zoom Air technology.
I find this pair of shoes beautiful. Its vintage color brings character to a racy and aggressive silhouette. This is a GR that would have easily been a heat and a big commercial success by adding a collaboration, for example with Travis Scott. That was the first thought that came to my mind when I received it. It’s a shame to see it still available everywhere when we are (for me) in front of a real HEAT.
