Le fructueux partenariat entre BAPE et New Balance se poursuit. Après avoir apporté sa touche streetwear sur la silhouette de la 2002R il y a presqu’un an (article disponible ICI), la célèbre marque japonaise remodèle la 57/40.
Selon les premières images diffusées, cette BAPE x NB 57/40 est déclinée en 2 coloris.
L’un intemporel gris/noir/blanc avec des accents réfléchissants et l’autre plus audacieux associant du bleu, purple, orange, rose, jaune, blanc et noir.
En ce qui concerne la composition, les 2 présentent un upper combinant du mesh, du cuir et du daim. Le fameux logo N latéral apparaît recouvert du print camo signature BAPE et le motif shark entoure le haut du talon. Pour affirmer la collab, le tag de languette et l’insole comportent le co-branding, et « A BATHING APE » ainsi que le logo Ape head ornent le talon latéral. L’ensemble repose sur une épaisse midsole blanche avec un clip de talon ondulé de couleur noire, ainsi que sur une outsole en caoutchouc noir.

One timeless grey/black/white with reflective accents and the other more daring combining blue, purple, orange, pink, yellow, white and black.
Regarding the composition, both feature an upper combining mesh, leather and suede. The famous N logo on the side appears covered with the signature BAPE camo print and the shark pattern surrounds the upper heel. To affirm the collab, the tongue tag and insole feature the co-branding and « A BATHING APE » and the Ape head logo adorn the side heel. The whole is based on a thick white midsole with a wavy black heel clip, as well as a black rubber outsole.
