Partenaires depuis 2013, le club de football de la capitale italienne, l’AS Roma, a mis fin à son partenariat avec Nike en juillet 2020 contre toute attente. Travaillant désormais avec l’équipementier New Balance, le club de la Louve a dévoilé ses kits officiels ainsi qu’une NB 997H collaborative « Only Roma ».
La chaussure de course initialement lancée en 1990 est habillée aux couleurs des Giallorossi. Principalement rouge profond, elle se pare d’accents jaunes et blancs. Elle se compose d’un upper combinant mesh et daim, de couleur rouge sur l’avant du pied et jaune au niveau de la languette et du renfort de cheville. Des empiècements blancs viennent illuminer le look, comme l’emblématique logo N latéral et les œillets supérieurs. L’harmonie du design est assurée par une doublure intérieure rouge et un clip de talon jaune. Afin de marquer la référence au club romain, le badge de l’AS Roma est apposé sur le tag de languette et le légendaire Lupetto orne l’insole rouge. L’ensemble repose sur une confortable midsole blanche couplée à une outsole en caoutchouc noir.

The running shoe originally launched in 1990 is dressed in the colors of the Giallorossi. Mainly deep red, it’s adorned with yellow and white accents. It consists of a mesh and suede upper, red on the forefoot and yellow on the tongue and ankle reinforcement. White inserts brighten up the look, as does the iconic N logo on the side and the upper eyelets. Harmonious design is ensured by a red inner lining and a yellow heel clip. To mark the reference to the Roman club, the AS Roma badge is emblazoned on the tongue tag and the legendary Lupetto adorns the red insole. The whole is based on a comfortable white midsole coupled with a black rubber outsole.
