Après une série de belles collaborations avec des grands noms du sportwear durant cet année 2020 (plusieurs articles dispos sur ce site), le célèbre shop japonais ATMOS retrouve un vieux partenaire, la légendaire marque anglaise CLARKS. Ce nouveau et deuxième projet est basé sur l’iconique Wallabee Boot. Il met fin à 8 ans d’absence de collaborations entre les deux fameuses enseignes.
Cette chaussure au look douillet est déclinée en deux coloris, noir et marron clair, et se pare d’un motif « animal » très cher à Atmos.
Elle se compose d’un mélange de matériaux fausse fourrure, avec un motif rayures animales sur la toe box et de couleur unie sur le reste du pied. Pour la paire noire, cet imprimé rayé est noir sur blanc et pour l’itération marron clair, il apparaît marron foncé sur camel. Un beau contraste est apporté par les couleurs symboliques rose et bleue de la région de Harajuku, où Atmos est basé, et des rues du sud-ouest de l’Angleterre, où l’entreprise CLARKS ORIGINAL a été fondée. La couleur rose se retrouve sur l’un des deux tags en cuir, appelé « Fob » accroché aux lacets, et au niveau du col de l’itération noire. Pour la paire marron clair, la couleur bleue se distingue uniquement sur l’un des Fob et le col apparait de couleur noire. Afin d’affirmer l’identité de la paire tout en gardant du mystère, les cols sont recouverts de coordonnées GPS, qui correspondent à la localisation d’Atmos à Harajuku, ainsi qu’a la rue anglaise qui a vu naître CLARKS. Le logo Atmos Tokyo est gravé sur le FOB, afin de diffuser le message japonais au monde entier. Par soucis de durabilité, d’adhérence et réduction de poids, l’ensemble repose sur une semelle Vibram, de couleur beige pour la version marron clair et en ton sur ton pour l’itération noire.
La Atmos x Clarks Originals « Wallabee Boots Gen » en deux coloris, sortira le 19 décembre 2020 via une raffle dont les inscriptions seront ouvertes à partir du mercredi 16 décembre 2020 sur le site du shop japonais atmos-tokyo.com. Pointures allant du UK 6 au UK 11, pour un prix de 200 €.
This shoe with a cozy look is available in two colorways, black and light brown, and is adorned with an « animal » pattern very dear to Atmos.
It consists of a mix of fake fur materials, with an animal stripe pattern on the toe box and a solid color on the rest of the foot. For the black pair, this striped print is black on white and for the light brown iteration, it appears dark brown on camel. A beautiful contrast is brought by the symbolic pink and blue colors of the Harajuku region, where Atmos is based, and the streets of South West England, where the company CLARKS ORIGINAL was founded. The pink color can be found on one of the two leather tags, called « Fob » hanging from the laces, and on the collar of the black iteration. For the light brown pair, the blue color can only be seen on one of the Fob and the collar appears black. In order to affirm the identity of the pair while keeping mystery, the collars are covered with GPS coordinates, which correspond to the location of Atmos in Harajuku, as well as the English street where CLARKS was born. The Atmos Tokyo logo is engraved on the FOB to spread the Japanese message to the world. For the sake of durability, grip and weight reduction, the whole is based on a Vibram sole, beige for the light brown version and tone-on-tone for the black iteration.
