Pour la troisième fois de leurs histoires, la marque berlinoise GmbH et la marque japonaise Asics se sont associées afin de nous proposer une collaboration sur la silhouette de la Gel-Nandi.
C’est dans la continuité de leur travail mêlant storytelling, artisanat et technologie que les équipes de GmbH ont souhaité travailler sur une silhouette trail datant des années 2000. Ses nombreux empiècements, ses juxtapositions de matières ont attiré les allemands qui ont ainsi pu y apporter leur univers en nous proposant deux coloris monochromes, l’un blanc et l’autre turquoise.
Toujours à la recherche de la fusion des technologies artificielles, du monde naturel et du corps humain en s’inspirant de l’eau, de la robotique, du futur proche et de la science-fiction. La couleur blanche est conçue pour apparaître comme une colonne vertébrale et des os. La turquoise est basée sur des souvenirs d’enfance de la mer Égée. Les os et l’eau, solides et liquides, et deux éléments essentiels du corps humain.
Les paires se composent d’un upper en cuir et mesh monochrome. On retrouve le branding GmbH au niveau de la semelle intérieure et du talon. l’ensemble repose sur une semelle de technologie Gel 360.

[:en]For the third time in their history, the Berlin-based brand GmbH and the Japanese brand Asics have teamed up to offer us a collaboration on the silhouette of Gel-Nandi.
In continuity of their work combining storytelling, craftsmanship and technology, the GmbH teams wanted to work on a trail silhouette dating from the 2000s. Its numerous inserts and juxtapositions of materials attracted the Germans, who were able to bring their own world to it by offering us two monochrome colorways, one white and the other turquoise.
Always in search of fushion of artificial technologies, the natural world and the human body, inspired by water, robotics, the near future and science fiction. The white colour is designed to appear as a spine and bones. The turquoise is based on childhood memories of the Aegean Sea. Bones and water, solid and liquid, and two essential elements of the human body.
The pair consists of a monochrome leather and mesh upper. We find the GmbH branding on the insole and the heel. The whole is based on a sole with Gel 360 technology.
The pack GmgH x ASICS GEL-NANDI™ 360 will be released on Wednesday, June 27, 2020.
