[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][:en][vc_row][vc_column width= »1/2″][vc_column_text]The year 2020 is rich in events in the sneakers world, notably it marks the 30th anniversary of famous silhouettes imagined by the talented designer Tinker Hatfield, such as the timeless Nike Air max 90 or the legendary Air Jordan V. After unveiling the re-release of the Air Jordan V « Fire Red » (article available HERE), the American brand continues to celebrate the model’s anniversary with a new special edition called « Top 3 ».
The Air Jordan V « Top 3 » combines three iconic iterations of the model in one shoe. Indeed, we find the upper of the « Metallic silver » in black premium nubuck contrasted by silver inserts on the quarter panel. Also, the laces and their eyelets remain faithful to this model which has been released twice since 1990. As for the imposing neoprene tongue, it’s derived from the « Grape » version of the Jordan V : two-tone, purple on the outside with the Jumpman highlighted in turquoise, the colour covering the inside. Moreover, we are waiting for the return of this shoe, in the announced colour « Grape ice or Alternante Grape » for the month of June. Finally, the third design used to conceive this « Top 3 » is that of the sole of the « Fire Red », whose look would be inspired by the Supermarine Spitfire fighter plane. The midsole comes in red and black colors with speckled pearl grey « teeth » on the sides, combined with an icy translucent outsole. In terms of details, the vintage and popular « Nike Air » embroidered with white thread on the back of the heel is once again found. The emblematic number 23 stands out in red embroidery on the heel counter. Another interesting detail, the names of the three models making up this new Jordan V are inscribed, each in their reference colour, on the inside label of the tongue.
The AIR JORDAN V « TOP 3 » initially announced for the end of May could arrive on 16 May 2020 at Jordan Brand retail stores such as Footpatrol, Sneakersnstuff, Afew… and on the Nike.com website at a price of 190 €.
The pair will most certainly be accessible via a raffle system.
