Asics Sportstyle which is about to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Gel Lyte III, is offering us today the re-release of a legendary colour, a cult model for the Gel Lyte III lovers : The Citrus.
This model created by the designer Matsui San in 1990, has evolved with times, moving from a sport shoe conceived for performance, to a Lifestyle shoe made for daily life. The famous separated tongue designed for a better foot comfort, and the « Quick and Easy » concept conceived for put on and remove the pair quickly (without using hands), still adapt perfectly today our society which wants to go fast while being comfortable.
After 30 years, Asics Sportstyle resurrects the 1990 OG colour. « The Citrus » used on the upper, provides a different type of flash and was specially developed by the designer Shigeyuki Mitsui and some marketing experts on special products from Europe and United States.
